Car park with resin floor and painted traffic lane

Floor coatings

Anti-slip resin floors

Reducing slip risk on ramps, wet areas and commercial kitchens.

Wet, greasy or sloping areas carry a slip risk. An anti-slip coating incorporates mineral aggregates into the resin to create a surface texture that improves grip.

Roughness is a trade-off between grip and ease of cleaning: it is chosen for each zone and use.

Definition — An anti-slip resin floor is made by broadcasting or mixing aggregates (silica, corundum…) into a resin coat and locking them in with a sealing coat. The resulting texture improves grip, especially when wet.

Frequently asked questions

Is an anti-slip floor hard to clean?

The rougher the texture, the more suitable cleaning equipment is needed. We choose the minimum roughness required.

Can an existing floor be made anti-slip?

Often yes, by applying an anti-slip coat over a sound, prepared coating.

Do you guarantee a slip rating?

We do not claim a rating without testing; stated performance is that of manufacturers’ data sheets.
